I woke up really early this morning (not on purpose) and decided to catch up on some reading before I have to go to work. There are two really exciting discoveries I’d like to share with you:
1. The Cassini Spacecraft has returned evidence hinting at the possible existence of life on Titan. This chemical evidence hints at microbial life on another body in our solar system! Isn’t that amazing?
2. Last night amateur astronomer Anthony Wesley captured images of another impact on Jupiter.
3. Look at this picture of the center of the Milky Way Galaxy in infrared. This image, taken by the 2 Micron All Sky Survey (2MASS), shows nearly ONE MILLION stars and is easily one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.
